These five schools were nominated by their communities and confirmed for the finalist round. We were honored to see students, families, staff, alumni, and community members rally around school music and the arts.

How Sing It Forward Worked

1. Schools Were Nominated
Community members nominated Metro Detroit school music and arts programs for the opportunity to host a TBD A Cappella benefit concert.

2. Finalists Were Confirmed
TBD A Cappella reviewed nominations and confirmed school interest before moving schools into the finalist round.

3. The Community Voted
Community members voted to help select this year’s Sing It Forward winner.

4. The Winner Hosts the Benefit Concert
Chippewa Valley High School will receive a donated TBD A Cappella performance and host the concert as a fundraiser for its music or arts program. The school keeps the ticket proceeds, minus any pre-approved travel or production expenses if applicable.
